ABOUT ME
THERAPEUTIC ORIENTATION
Over the past 20+ years, I have continued to refine my intuitive ability to help others Under-Stand life circumstances and, in the process, assist them in growing further toward “full potential.” That process is unique for each individual, couple, group, family, community, or organization. I am trained in the Trans-Theoretical Eclecticism orientation (TE). The TE model allows for a treatment process to be conceptualized and designed to fit the specific person’s intra/interpersonal, environment, cultural, and; past/present issue.
EXPERIENCE
As a woman of color, I understand how cultural aspects of life can inspire daily living and at the same time present challenges to attaining “full potential.” Thus I combined Multicultural, Group, and Holistic Wellness (MGHW) within TE. I also understand that many times the urgency of issue resolution and cost is key to making a treatment decision. Therefore, I combine these 2 models within a Solution-Focused Brief Therapy model (SFBT) for as much efficiency and expediency as needed. TE + MGHW + SFBT= “Full Potential”
